In order to protect the safety of the Louisiana Tech University community and the public in general, Louisiana Tech University offers a Driver Safety Program that adheres to the requirements of the State of Louisiana Office of Risk Management.

All university employees must complete the university sponsored driver safety course to drive a university owned vehicle or to be reimbursed for mileage on a personal vehicle.  This course must be repeated every three years unless the driver has received a ticket or had an accident.  In case of tickets or accidents, the course must be repeated immediately.
